Rules for using the app
Effective from February 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the NeuroScan application, operated by TimAzSoft ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By creating an account you accept these Terms of Service. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@neuroscanapp.io if you suspect unauthorized use.
NeuroScan records short video and/or audio sessions. Facial expression, gesture, and body posture recognition is performed locally on your device in real time; voice patterns are analyzed on our servers after recording. Based on this data, engagement, trust, and stress metrics are generated. NeuroScan is an analytical and educational tool. It is not a medical device, does not make diagnoses, and cannot replace professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.
You confirm that you have the legal right and, where the recorded person is not yourself, their informed consent, to record and analyze that person with the Service, in accordance with the law of your jurisdiction.
Certain features (extended analysis minutes, extra storage) are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions or one-time purchases through Google Play Billing. Prices, quotas and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase and may change with notice. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime from your Google Play account settings.
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to record people without required consent; reverse-engineer, decompile or bypass security or quota mechanisms; use the Service to harass, defame or discriminate against anyone; or upload content you have no rights to.
You retain ownership of the video, audio, and images you create in the app ("User Content"). Video is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze the portion of User Content that is transmitted to our servers (audio, individual photos) solely for the operation and improvement of the Service. You can permanently delete your User Content and account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. The app, its source code, design, name, and NeuroScan logo belong to TimAzSoft and are protected by intellectual property laws.
The Service uses third-party providers to implement certain analysis functions (the current list is in our Privacy Policy). By using the Service, you agree that the relevant data (audio, individual photos) transmitted to our servers may be directed to these processors solely for generating the results of your session.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. EMOTION, TRUST AND STRESS INDICATORS ARE PROBABILISTIC ESTIMATES AND MAY BE INACCURATE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIMAZSOFT IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. Questions can be sent to info@neuroscanapp.io.
